Mount Real victims' group urging those affected to vote on settlement

A group representing victims of the Mount Real fraud scandal is asking those affected by the events to vote on a $43 million settlement.If a majority of the victims don’t vote, the case will become null and void, according to Janet Watson of the Mount Real Victims Group.The Ponzi scheme took place over a decade ago, between 1996 and 2005, and many of the people affected by it have passed away or moved, Watson said in a statement.Those affected have until Feb. 14 to submit proofs of claim,
