Motorist dies after accident on Highway 40

A 32-year-old motorist died on Sunday after she lost control of her vehicle while travelling on Highway 40 in Vaudreuil-Dorion and struck a car on the other side of the highway.
The woman was driving westbound when her car went off the highway, crossed the median and was struck by another vehicle travelling eastbound on Highway 40, said Sgt. Hélène Nepton of the Sûreté du Québec.
The woman was trapped in her vehicle, and rescuers needed hydraulic pliers kno
