Monumental work of art unveiled at former Bonaventure Expressway site

A monumental stainless steel statue now greets people as they arrive at a new Montreal gateway.
Standing 10 metres tall, the work of art – Source, by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa – is being unveiled Wednesday on Wellington, between Duke and Nazareth Sts.
When it announced plans for the public art in 2016, the city said the work “makes reference to what gives energy and vitality to a city: the people and their origins.”
