Montreal's snow removal operations continue under extreme cold warning

An extreme cold warning issued by Environment Canada Wednesday is still in effect for the greater Montreal area.
“Cold Arctic air, combined with brisk winds, is producing extreme wind chill values of minus-38 Celsius to minus-42,” Environment Canada said in a statement re-issued early Thursday morning. 
The warning mentions it will be especially cold in the areas around Châteauguay, Laval, Longueuil and the island of Montreal.
