Montrealers react: La Ronde attraction Pitoune at end of its ride

The Pitoune, one of La Ronde amusement park’s oldest attractions, has reached the end of its ride.
After 50 years in existence, the log-style water ride will not reopen for the 2017 season.The Pitoune was built in 1967, the same year La Ronde opened, and is one of the few original rides left at the amusement park. It was inaugurated during Expo 67.
