Montreal takes out city hall welcome sign that included woman wearing hijab

A welcome sign at city hall has been removed after some felt the depiction of a woman wearing a hijab showed how religion was creeping into public spaces. The removal comes at a time when Quebec is moving to strengthen secularism.
