Montreal police, Quebec shine spotlight on elder abuse prevention

As part of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, Montreal police conducted elder abuse prevention activities on Thursday. 
The SPVM, which is working with the Montreal Crime Victims Assistance Centre and the Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre, said activities will take place in many boroughs.
Meanwhile, the Quebec minister responsible for seniors, Francine Charbonneau, plans to launch a $46-million action plan to crack down on elder abuse. The plan, the second in seven years
