Montreal Impact signs Uruguayan midfielder Alejandro Silva

The Montreal Impact announced Monday that it has signed Uruguayan midfielder Alejandro Silva after a transfer from Argentine club CA Lanús.
Silva signed a three-year deal with the Impact and he will join the club after passing his medical and receiving his international transfer certificate. 
The 28-year-old Silva, who also plays for the Uruguayan national team, has spent the last five seasons at Lanús.
