Montreal Fête nationale parade floats raise diversity concerns

Footage of this year’s Fête nationale parade in Montreal that has been circulating on Facebook has raised questions and criticisms about the inclusivity of this year’s event. The video appears to show a float being pushed by four black men in khakis while a pianist and singer perform. The float is surrounded by white marchers decked out in white.
