Montreal borough mayor considers banning religious events in park after Eid celebration draws complaints

The mayor of the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough said she received a dozen complaints by emails after members of Montreal's Muslim community gathered at Parc des Hirondelles to celebrate the Eid al-Adha holiday and pray together.
