Montreal blue-collar union placed under trusteeship

Montreal’s blue-collar workers’ union has been placed under trusteeship by its parent union because of “serious operational difficulties.” 
The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) announced Tuesday that it has named an administrator to oversee the 7,500-member Syndicat des cols bleus regroupés de Montréal, Local 301.
