Montreal-based video game company lays off 115 workers

A Montreal-based video game company is laying off the majority of its workforce as it begins a restructuring process.
Hibernum, which makes games for mobile devices, has seen lower-than-expected results on certain projects, leading to a lack of liquidity, it said in a release. It blamed those problems on changes in the mobile video game industry.
The company, which was founded in 2004, has worked with companies like Disney, making games based on such movies as Beauty and the Beast and Lego.
