Montreal arson squad probes truck torching in St-Laurent

Montreal’s arson squad has been handed yet another investigation into the deliberate torching of a vehicle — this time in the borough of St-Laurent.
The incident occurred at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, when a van parked on Modugno St. near Varin St. caught fire.
The vehicle is considered a total loss and has been taken to the police pound for further examination.
