Montreal appoints commissioner for Indigenous affairs

Marie-Ève Bordeleau has been appointed as Montreal’s first commissioner for Indigenous affairs.
Bordeleau, a Cree lawyer, will lead the development of Montréal’s reconciliation strategy, and will pioneer a training program for city employees.
