Montreal apologizes for past police raids targeting LGBT community

Both Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre and police Chief Philippe Pichet have officially apologized to the LGBT community for a series of raids in the 1970s, 80s, 90s that resulted in the arrests of more than 800 people.
