Montreal anti-capitalist group planning Canada Day demonstration

An anti-capitalist group is calling on people to disrupt Canada Day festivities on Saturday, especially by using symbols of Canadian colonialism.
On its website, the group, called the Convergence des luttes anticapitalistes, announced it is planning a demonstration that will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Place d’Armes in Montreal – they are calling it AntiCanada Day.
The group is asking people to steal Quebec and Canadian flags from government buildings and to burn them.
