Monster trucks bring (more) destruction to Olympic Stadium

Michael Vaters was at a crossroads. 
Confronted with the reality of bumper height laws, he could either lower his lifted pickup truck to a conservative height or take it off the road. 
“I wasn’t about to lower it,” he says.
So he took the truck off the street, lifted it even closer to the heavens and installed 66-inch tires. 
Vaters will appear at the Olympic Stadium this Saturday as one of the drivers in the 24th Monster Spectacular, a fossil-fuelled celebration
