McGill grad Daniel Jacob hired as an assistant coach with Laval Rocket

Joël Bouchard will have a familiar face beside him behind the Laval Rocket bench for the 2018-19 season.
The Canadiens’ AHL farm club announced Wednesday that Daniel Jacob has been hired as an assistant coach, the same role he had with Bouchard for four seasons while they were both with the QMJHL’s Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.
Bouchard was named head coach of the Rocket last week after leading the Armada to a league-best 50-11-7 record during the regular season and advancing to
