McGill baseball team opens national-title bid with win over Concordia

FREDERICTON — As the undefeated McGill University Redmen embark on their quest for a fourth straight Canadian Collegiate Baseball Association title, some players were immersed in their books and laptops while combining studying during their ten-hour bus trip to the national championship tournament in Fredericton on Wednesday.
“I have a final on Tuesday and a presentation worth 15 per cent of my grade,” said Redmen third-baseman Jared Kersh.
