Mayor-designate Valérie Plante meets voters at métro station

Less than 12 hours after winning Montreal’s mayoral race, Valérie Plante was at the Square-Victoria-OACI métro station on Monday morning thanking voters for their support ahead of her first day at city hall as mayor. 
A beaming Plante was greeted warmly by many métro riders who stopped to shake hands on their way to work.
Plante was accompanied by several members of her Projet Montreal team.
