Many Quebec hospital emergency rooms remain at or over capacity

Many hospital emergency rooms across Quebec remained busy on Thursday morning, according to Index Santé.
More than 100 per cent of emergency room beds at nine Montreal hospitals were occupied, with another six reporting occupation rates above 90 per cent.
The occupation rate was 127 per cent at the Hôpital de Verdun and 125 per cent at the Montreal Children’s hospital, the two highest rates in the region.
