Several Quebec emergency rooms are reporting high traffic, but it’s in Montérégie where emergency rooms occupancy rates have generally been the highest.
The Index Santé directory showed that the occupation rate for emergency room beds on Tuesday was 145 per cent at the Hôpital du Suroît, in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield; 139 pour cent at the Centre hospitalier Anna-Laberge, in Châteauguay; and 124 pour cent at the Sorel Hôtel-Dieu.
