Maniwaki shooting: Protest planned in support of Steven Bertrand

Friends and family of Steven Bertrand, the 18-year-old man shot in the head by a special constable at the Maniwaki courthouse, are organizing a protest on Saturday. 
Participants will gather at 1 p.m. in front of the courthouse and then march through the streets of the Quebec community about 300 kilometres northwest of Montreal. 
The young man’s mother, Julie Bertrand, says the protest is meant to raise awareness. She demands that “justice be served.”
