Man killed while trying to help ATV rider stuck on logging road

QUÉBEC — A man in his 70s was killed in an ATV accident in Port-Daniel-Gascons in the Gaspésie Saturday.
The man was trying to help an ATV rider whose vehicle was stuck on a logging road.
He had installed cables to pull the ATV, but one of the vehicles moved backward and struck the victim. He died instantly.
There is no criminal element to the tragedy, the Sûreté du Québec said.
