Man killed in east-end Montreal school bus crash

A 61-year-old man is dead after he was run over by a school bus in east-end Montreal Monday afternoon.
The man was crossing Beaubien St. near Pie IX Blvd. around 2:30 p.m. when the bus crashed into him and rolled over his body. Police say the driver was rounding a corner and likely didn’t see the victim.
Paramedics rushed the injured man to a nearby trauma unit but he died in hospital.
The driver, a woman in her 40s, was also taken to hospital and treated for nervo
