Man injured in Pointe-aux-Trembles

A man was injured in an assault Sunday morning around 2:30 a.m. according to Montreal police. 
Police responded to a 911 call about an assault at Notre-Dame St. and 6 Ave. in the Pointe-aux-Trembles borough around that time.
A fight had broken out among multiple people. In the commotion, an 18-year-old man was injured in the lower part of his body. Police initially thought the injury could have been a gunshot wound, but this was not the case.
