Man falls from crane at downtown construction site

Quebec’s workplace safety board is investigating after a worker fell from a crane at a construction site near the Place des Festivals.
Work at the site, on St-Laurent Blvd. just south of Ste-Catherine St., was halted for the morning after the man fell from a height of about three metres, said Alexandra Burnet, a spokesperson for the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail.
