Man dies after falling from 7th-floor balcony during Laval police operation

Quebec’s police-oversight bureau is investigating after a man died during a planned drug raid in Laval Thursday night. 
According to Quebec’s Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes (BEI), which investigates police interventions resulting in deaths or injuries, the incident happened after Laval police officers made a “dynamic entry” into a seventh-floor apartment.
