Man charged with murdering his landlord in Roxboro

A Roxboro resident has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a man who was shot during the past weekend.
Michael David Burns, 33, made a brief appearance before a Quebec Court judge at the Montreal courthouse on Monday and was ordered to remain detained for the time being.
He is charged with killing Constantinos Tountas, 45, on Saturday.
The accused lists his home address as being an apartment on 1st Ave. in the Pierrefonds—Roxboro borough. According to land registry record
