Man barricaded in Drummondville residence

A man has barricaded himself in a Drummondville home since Friday evening, threatening to use a knife against himself or the police if they approach him, according to the Sûreté du Québec.
An SQ spokesperson said that they believe the man is in a mental health crisis.
He is about 30-years-old and alone in the home.
Police have been trying to get him to come out of the residence since they were first called to the scene around 9 p.m. Friday.
