Man, 45, dies after Pierrefonds hit-and-run

A 45-year-old man has died after a Friday night hit-and-run in Pierrefonds. 
SPVM spokesperson Manuel Couture said police were contacted around 10:30 p.m. about a pedestrian who had been struck by a car at the intersection of Pierrefonds Blvd. and Ste-Anne St.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition, but he was pronounced dead early on Saturday afternoon.
The driver of the car stopped briefly before leaving the scene, Couture said.
