Longueuil profiling case headed to human rights tribunal

The city of Longueuil will not comply with a decision by the Quebec Human Rights and Youth Rights Commission asking it to pay $12,000 to a South Shore man who was racially profiled by police in 2012. 
That means the decision over the profiling of Joel DeBellefeuille will be referred to the Quebec Human Rights Tribunal, Fo Niemi, executive director of the Centre for Research-Action on Race Relations (CRARR), said on Sunday.
