Longueuil mayor saving 2 executive committee spots for opposition
With a city council meeting scheduled for Tuesday night, Longueuil Mayor Sylvie Parent, who narrowly won the Nov. 5 election, has not yet filled her executive committee.
Parent won by 110 votes. In addition to the mayoralty, her party, Action Longueuil, won five city council seats.
But another party, Longueuil citoyen, won nine seats on the 15-seat council.
A third party, Option Longueuil, won one seat.
