Liveblog: Rangers at Canadiens

Alexei Emelin, of all people, was the last Canadien to score against the New York Rangers, who visit the Bell Centre on Saturday night.
Emelin opened the scoring at Madison Square Garden last April 22 in Game 6 of the opening round of the playoffs. The Rangers went on to win 3-1.
More recently, on Oct. 8, the Canadiens — fresh off a 6-1 pasting in Washington — outshot the Rangers 34-25 at MSG, but were on the short end of a 2-0 final score.
Saturday’s rematch is not exactly a C
