Liveblog: Detroit at Canadiens

Saturday dawned overcast in Montreal, but the city’s hockey fans, i.e. the entire population, were basking in the sunny glow of seeing their faves in a playoff spot.
The euphoria didn’t last.
Boston’s 3-0 win over Philadelphia in their afternoon game moved the Bruins one point ahead of the Canadiens into third place in the Atlantic Division.
But a victory over Detroit Saturday night would let the Canadiens leapfrog the Bruins (who will have four games in hand)..
