Will the bubble burst in Buffalo?
Heading into Thursday night’s game against the Sabres, the no-longer-woeful (at least so far) Canadiens are the number three team in the Eastern Conference, trailing only Toronto and Tampa Bay. The Canadiens have lost only once in regulation and scored six more goals than they’ve allowed.
Jonathan Drouin was superb in Tuesday’s home win against Calgary – as were most of his teammates.
