Les Pervenches duo pushes the limits of Quebec wine capabilities

Though small, Quebec’s wine industry is one of the most dynamic in Canada. The result is many excellent wines. This month, I am putting the spotlight on the wineries I feel are leading the way.
The husband and wife team of Michael Marler and Véronique Hupin have taken many risks since they purchased a small vineyard in Farnham in 2000. Amongst the vines were a few rows of chardonnay, but the prevailing wisdom at that time was that Quebec’s climate wasn’t suited for Europ
