Leaky pipe floods Van Horne Ave., creates Sunday traffic woes

Montreal city workers are trying to fix a water leak that has paralyzed traffic since 8 a.m. Sunday in Mile-End.
A broken water main shot a hole in the asphalt on Van Horne Ave., near Park Ave, flooding the area with jets of water reaching two metres high. Police have closed the intersection and put in a detour until city worker can fix the broken pipe.
