Laval Rocket hires Alexandre Burrows as an assistant coach

Alexandre Burrows has hung up his skates and has a new job now with the AHL’s Laval Rocket.
The Rocket announced on Friday that Burrows has been hired as an assistant coach under new head coach Joël Bouchard. Burrows played 13 seasons in the NHL as a forward after never being drafted and posted 6-8-14 totals in 71 games last season with the Ottawa Senators.
