Laval police seek hotel bandit

Laval police are turning to the public for help in tracking down a suspect they believe rifled a vending machine at a local hotel then threatened the owner after he was photographed making his getaway.
 
The incident occurred May 30 at the Best Western Hotel at 3655 Highway 15.
 
Police say the suspect entered the hotel by an emergency exit and then broke open a vending machine in the building’s basement, making off with the money inside.
