Laval corruption: Former director general Claude Asselin jailed

Claude Asselin, the former director general of the city of Laval, was taken into custody Wednesday morning after he was sentenced to a prison term for his role in the system of collusion in the awarding of municipal contracts that existed in Laval for years.
