Lance Stroll 18th in Japan F1 qualifying; Hamilton wins pole position

Montreal’s Lance Stroll will start in 18th position at tomorrow’s Japanese Grand Prix.
The 18-year-old driver endured a complicated qualifying session. He may have been blocked by Force India driver Sergio Pérez, who could be sanctioned as a consequence.
Championship leader Lewis Hamilton secured pole position, leading a 1-2 finish for Mercedes drivers on Saturday.
Hamilton posted a lap record time of 1 minute, 27.319 seconds to finish 0.332 ahead of Valtteri Bottas.
