Lachine daycare owner arrested for allegedly shaking children

The 59-year-old owner of a Lachine daycare was arrested Wednesday amid allegations she shook children in her care.
Police descended on the Collège des petits anges daycare at 12:45 p.m. after receiving a tip late Tuesday. They also decided to shut down the 6th Ave. facility Wednesday — a decision they took after meeting with youth protection workers, Crown prosecutors and criminal investigators.
