Lac-Mégantic defence lawyer ‘optimistic’ on Day 1 of trial

According to his lawyer, Tom Harding, the engineer charged with criminal negligence causing the deaths of 47 people in the Lac-Mégantic train derailment, is “optimistic, but nervous” now that the trial has started.
