La Grande Roue's opening delayed until end of August
The largest “observation wheel” in Canada, which was expected to open in the Old Port in June, will probably not open until the end of August, CBC reports.
The grounds surrounding the site on Île-Bonsecours, and a nearby café, bar, and offices are not completed.
The spring and summer’s almost relentless rain, a construction strike, and Quebec’s annual construction holiday have contributed to the delay.
