Kramberger: West Island hospice marks 15th year

Saying goodbye to a terminally ill family member or friend is never easy, which is why the West Island Palliative Care Residence has been a blessing since it opened in Kirkland 15 years ago.
The hospice provides end-of-life care, with dignity, for West Islanders in a homelike environment within their own community. 
Teresa Dellar was a social worker at the Lakeshore General Hospital when she spotted a need for a palliative care residence and took on the project. She said she
