Korf: 'Toxic' sums up the year 2018

I am probably a bit of an oddball, but I always look forward to learning what the Word of the Year will be. This year, the Oxford Dictionary has chosen “toxic” to reflect the mood of the passing year. Toxic is an adjective defined as 1) relating to or caused by poison; 2) very bad, unpleasant or harmful.
