Jazz Fest: After SLĀV debacle, organizers say they 'can do better'

Montreal International Jazz Festival organizers, who cancelled the controversial production SLĀV this week, said they “could do better” when it comes to race at the festival’s closing press conference on Saturday.
“We’re just starting to listen,” jazz fest CEO Jacques-André Dupont said. “It’s a very complicated conversation and I haven’t started understanding everything.”
