Is RoboCup the robotic soccer match Montreal didn't know it needed?

We could soon be adding professional soccer player to the list of jobs that are replaced by robots in the future. At least, that might come true if RoboCup gets its way.
The RoboCup is a robotics competition — running until June 22 at Montreal’s Palais des congrès — that invites young robot designers from around the world to present and share their work.
