Max Pacioretty said it’s one thing to get the bounces; it’s another thing to take advantage of them.
A perfect example was Pacioretty’s overtime goal that gave the Canadiens a 2-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night at the Bell Centre. Phillip Danault took advantage of a turnover and fed a pass to Pacioretty, who went to his backhand to beat Chad Johnson on a breakaway at 3:08.
“They broke a stick and Phil was able to jump on it and create a turnover,” sai
